Jones retired from the Air Force in 1968 after duty at bases overseas and in the states.

He moved to Novato in 1964 and lived with his wife, Dorothy, at 4 Sunnyhill Road.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, William Cox Jones of Texas, John Czerny, James Weeks and Gerald Lee Jones, all of Novato.

He is also survived by two grandchildren.
