BERNICE G. McMILLAN
Bernice Green McMillan, a longtime Tiburon resident, died Tuesday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 58.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and had lived 31 years in Marin. She moved to Tiburon 28 years ago.
Mrs. McMillan was a homemaker and also operated a day care center in her home for 12 years prior to her illness. She enjoyed activities with her children and the youngsters of others who were placed in her care.
She is survived by three daughters, Julia McMillan of San Francisco, Bernice Diane McMillan and Susan Van Wickler, both of Tiburon; a son, Charles McMillan of Redding; and two grandchildren.
A Mass in celebration of her life will be offered at noon Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Mill Valley.
The family prefers that contributions be made to the Irwin memorial Blood Bank or the Easter Seals Foundation.
