McTOLDRIDGE, Marie Louise - A resident of Mill Valley for 2 years and Santa Barbara for over 40 years, passed away in San Francisco on January 29, 2002, at the age of 62. Her four loving children were by her side and her three precious grandchildren were in her heart. As in her life, her death has touched so many. Her incredible ability to love and care for those around her was immeasurable. She was a wonderful mother, best friend, sister, and our true guide throughout her entire life. Her beauty and warm smile will truly be missed but will live on in our hearts forever. Marie was born in Toronto, Canada in July of 1939 and very proudly became a United States citizen in 1967. Marie raised a family and maintained the same career in Human Resources for 35 years. Known to her grandchildren as "Grammy," Marie traveled from Santa Barbara to New York and San Francisco to share in the lives of her grandchildren Lauren, Samantha, and Jack. She is survived by her children Tina McToldridge of Larkspur, and her son-in-law Michael Stewart of Mill Valley. Our mother whose time seemed to end too soon gave us all the incredible gift of her love and support. To be a part of her life was to be truly blessed. A private family memorial will be held.
