EUGENIO DAN HODEL
A memorial service for Eugenio Dan Hodel of Stockton, a former Marin resident, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Stockton.
Mr. Hodel died Monday at a Stockton hospital at the age of 56. Mr. Hodel, a native of Romania, had lived in Stockton for two years. He previously lived in Ross.
For 35 years he worked as a marketing consultant. He was the inventor of a standup waterbed liner. Mr. Hodel had served as president of the San Francisco Community Rehabilitation Workshop in the late 1960s.
Survivors are his mother, Alexandra Hodel of Zurich, Switzerland; four children, Mark Hodel of Stockton, Alex Hodel of Ross, Page Hodel of San Francisco and Ann Hodel of Boulder, Colo., a brother, Robert Hodel of Zurich; and one grandchild.
