Fred T. Dagg
Passed away on July 31st, 2002, at theage of 90. Mr. Dagg was the husband of Harriette Dagg of Country Club Hills Il, father of Karen Dagg also of CCHills, father of Carol Sterritt of Sausalito, and grandfather of Gabe Sterritt. He was a passionate family man, who early on in his career strayed from the corporate scene to open his own accounting office, to have time to take his girls to the park after school. Although married for close to 62 years, a month before his death, he referred to his wife as "one big sparkle." Well known in Chicago for his accounting skills, he was called upon by old employers for fiscal advice well into his 80's.Throughout his life, he enjoyed travel, especially if it meant enjoying a body of water, where he could float motionless on his back for hours. (He never minded being used by young swimmers as a type of raft.) Friends of Carol Sterritt will be invited to a celebration of his life to be announced shortly.
