Developer Seaver Dies In Hospital
Talcott W. Seaver, 56, prominent Mill Valley real estate developer, died yesterday afternoon in a local hospital after long illness.
Seaver, who resided at 63 Shelley drive, Enchanted Knolls, Mill Valley, came to Marin County in 1955 from Los Angeles.
He developed the Enchanted Knolls subdivision at the eastern end of Mill Valley.
A native of New Haven, Conn., Seaver was a graduate of the University of California, class of 1925. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Genevieve W. Seaver, Mill Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Sally De LaFontaine, Mill Valley, and Mrs. Janet Seaver Elliott of Los Angeles; his mother, Mrs. Grace Whittemore Seaver of Mountain View, and a sister, Mrs. Howard B. Crittenden of Atherton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Inurnment will be private. The family requests that tributes be in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
