ROSEMARY DAVENPORT

Rosemary Hayes Davenport, a volunteer at the Mill Valley Library, died July 14,at 83.

Mrs. Davenport was born in St. Louis, Mo.

For many years she worked as an administrator of the Disability Determination Branch for the Hawaii Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.

In 1969, she was named outstanding career woman of the year by the Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs of Oahu.

Mrs. Davenport moved to Mill Valley in 1979.

Her activities included the American Association of University Women, the Outdoor Art Club, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish and the Muir Woods Park Community Association.

She is survived byher husband, Clifton E. Davenport; a stepdaugher, Christine Davenport of Mill Valley; and a stepson, Robert Davenport of New York.

At her request, there will be no services.
