COLEMAN, George J. - Died October 29 in his 89th year at home in Belvedere where he lived since 1950. He was the dearly beloved husband of Mary (Mollie) West Coleman; stepfather of Nancy Love Parish, M. Gwaltney Mountford and Elizabeth Love Barron; "Poppa"to Daniel G. Connick and Isaiah D. Barron.
Mr. Coleman was born in 1914 in Buckinghamshire, England, the son of Joseph and Minnie Coleman. He is survived by his brother Raymond, his sisters Madge Meyer, Mary Fitzgerald, all of California; Violet Lawson and Daisy Steptoe of England. He was predeceased by his sister Louise Clark and brothers William and James Coleman.
