CARTER, Dee Piva - Age 69, late of San Mateo and San Mateo County resident for 44 years, entered into rest in Burlingame on March 19, 2002. Beloved wife of Hal Carter; loving mother of John Piva of San Francisco, Cathy Chapman (her husband Don) of Mill Valley, Susan Goudreau (her husband Jim) of Campbell, Carolyn Owen (her husband Dennis) of Pleasant Hill, and their father Robert Piva; loving step-mother of Linda Sobell, Cathy Crockett, and Denise Wells. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, and her dearest friend Lee Flaherty. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 25th, at 10:30 A.M. at Saint Robert's Catholic Church, Crystal Springs Road and Oak Avenue, in San Bruno. Inurnment at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma. Her family prefers donations to the American Lung Association. Arrangements are being cared for by the Chapel of the Highlands in Millbrae.
