MRS. FAWCETT
Funeral was yesterday for Annie D. Fawcett, a longtime Petaluma resident who died at a local hospital Saturday after a long illness. She was76.
Mrs. Fawcett, a retired head housekeeper at Main General Hospital, was a native of Belvedere, England. She was reared there and in Canada. She came to Southern Sonoma 50 years ago. Her husband, William Fawcett, died in 1952.
She was a member of the Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a past member of the Oakland Rebekah Lodge.
Mrs. Fawcett is survived by two sisters, Ada Anderson of Petaluma and Emma Allan of Alberta, Canada, and two brothers, Arthur Gilbert of Petaluma and James Gilbert of San Lorenzo.
Burial will be in the Canadian Legion plot of Liberty Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefers memorial gifts to favorite charities.
