Death Notice
MC GOWEN – In San Rafael, July 11, 1976, Dixie F. McGowen, loving wife of the late Ventress E. McGowen, loving mother of Valerie Flatz of San Jose, and William E. McGowen of Novato; loving daughter of Greta Files of Booneville, Miss., loving sister of Gladys G. Clay of Richmond, Va., Mrs. Neil Blackard of Hollywood, Fla., and Ruby Bishop of Baldwin, Miss.; also survived by eight grandchildren. A native of Mississippi, aged 51 years.
Friends are invited to attend the graveside service Thursday, July 15, 1976, at 2 p.m. at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael. Visitation Wednesday, July 14, 1976, from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Memorial Chapel and Gardens of Russell and Gooch, Mill Valley.
