Robert Henry

Funeral for Robert C. Henry, a self-employed consulting chemist, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Novato.

Henry, 55, of San Rafael, died Thursday at a local hospital after a long illness.

He had been a resident of Marin since 1969, and formerly lived in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and Arlington Heights, Ill.

Henry was a native of Chicago. He received a degree in chemistry from the University of Maryland. He served in the Army during World War II as a captain. He was in the chemical warfare corps, at Edgewood Arsenal in Maryland and overseas in Tunisia and Italy.

After the war he did graduate study at the University of Michigan. He was a life member of Alpha Chi Sigma fraternity.

Surviving are a daughter, Rachel Allison Henry of Novato, and a brother, Howard Patrick Henry of Fort Huron, Mich.
