ALEXANDER WILSON
Masonic graveside services for Alexander Wilson, former Marin landscape architect, will be tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
Wilson, 84, of Anderson, Shasta County, died Saturday at a Redding hospital following a long illness.
A native of Scotland, Wilson emigrated to Canada as a young man and served during World War I in the Canadian army.
He then came to Marin and lived for many years in San Anselmo before moving to Shasta County 25 years ago. Before retiring, he was a landscape architect for 68 years.
Wilson was a member of the Ben Ali Temple of Sacramento, the Scottish Rite of Oakland, Fairfax chapter No. 556 of the Free and Accepted Masons and White Shrine No. 40 of Redding.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret, of Anderson; three sons, William W. Wilson of Fairfax, John Wilson of Redding and Alexander Wilson of Anderson; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
