HELENA SIAS
Funeral for Helena Sias, widow of former Mill Valley city councilman Donald Sias, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Mill Valley Community Church, 8 Olive Street. Cremation will be private.
Mrs. Sias, 71, past president of the Outdoor Art Club of Mill Valley, died at her home at 10 Catalpa Avenue Saturday after a long illness.
A native of Los Angeles, she had lived in Mill Valley for 43 years. She was a member of the Outdoor Art Club and Colonial Dames.
Her husband, who served on the Mill Valley council from 1946 to 1950, died in 1957.
Mrs. Sias is survived by three sons, Thomas C. Sias of Tacoma, Wash.; Roane T. Sias of San Anselmo, and John B. Sias of Westport, Conn., and a sister, Phyllis Temple of Los Angeles.
The family prefers contributions to the Guardsmen Campership Fund of San Francisco.
