ADA McCREEDY
Ada Grace McCreedy, 85, of Larkspur, died yesterday in a local convalescent hospital where she had been a patient for 13 months.
Mrs. McCreedy was the wife of James H. McCreedy of 414 William Avenue, Larkspur. The couple farmed in Nebraska and operated a store in Denver, Colo., before moving to California in 1940. Following World War II employment in Bay Area shipyards, McCreedy was an Electrolux salesman until his retirement.
Mrs. McCreedy was born in Nelson, Neb., and had resided in Larkspur for 26 years.
Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter and two sons, Mrs. Don Ward of Novato, Willis McCreedy of San Francisco, and James J. McCreedy of Pacifica; also six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
