Well known pioneer is laid to rest
Funeral of Charles Bogan is largely attended and services are solemn and impressive.
The funeral of Charles Bogan took place last Friday morning from St. Raphael's church, the interment being in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Solemn pontifical high mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Phillips for the repose of the soul of the dead pioneer. The funeral was largely attended and included the presence of a number of the clergy from San Francisco and Petaluma.
The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful. A special choir rendered a number of appropriate selections during the service.
