SOUZA - In San Rafael, May 15, 1954, Rufus Souza, adored husband of Josephine Souza; the loving father of Gerald and Allen J. Souza, beloved brother of Manuel, Vasco, Mario and Arthur Souza and Frank Loureiro, Mrs. Lillian Kendall, Mrs. Lucy Falk, Mrs. Emily Garcia and Mrs. Katherine Cardoza. A native of California. Aged 52 years. Member of San Rafael Lodge Number 1108 BPOE, Mt. Tamalpais Parlor Number 64 NSGW, IDDEST of Novato, APU-MEC of Novato, IDES of Petaluma.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral Wednesday, May 19, 1954 at 9:15 a.m. o’clock from Keaton’s Mortuary thence to St. Raphael’s Church where at 9:30 a.m. a Requiem High Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery, San Rafael. Recitation of the Rosary Tuesday evening at 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
