Accident Victim Taken By Death
Funeral services for George Beardsley, 53, of Mill Valley, who died last Thursday night following an accident on Armistice Day, were held Monday from the Hotchkiss Memorial Chapel in Mill Valley.
The accident occurred when the automobile in which he was riding left the road on a curve about three miles north of Stinson Beach. The auto was driven by Marois Riveria, 30, of Tamalpais Valley, who was very severely cut and bruised. Beardsley’s wife, Mrs. Ida Beardsley, sustained minor injuries.
An autopsy by Dr. J. H. Kuser revealed that the victim met his death from a basal fracture of the skull and the puncturing of the lungs by fractured ribs.
Besides his wife, Beardsley is survived by a daughter, Mildred.
