Oliver Sirard, 87, Pioneer Resident For 60 Years, Dead
Funeral service for Oliver Sirard, pioneer San Rafael resident, who died at his home here last Saturday, was held Monday forenoon from the Keaton Mortuary followed by a requiem mass at St. Raphael’s Church, and burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Sirard, a native of Canada, was 87 years of age, and came to the United States when a young man, and has resided in San Rafael the greater part of his life.
He was employed for many years by the P. G. E. Company.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Camille Lewis and Mrs. Roy Prescott, and four sons, Frank O., Louis A., Carl and George Sirard.
His wife, Mrs. Mary Sirard passed away a number of years ago, shortly after the couple had observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary.
