PHILLIPS – In Marin City, June 27, 1987, Mae Ella Phillips, devoted wife of Frank J. Phillips Sr. of Marin City, loving mother of LaVerne P. Thomas of Rohnert Park, Frank J. Phillips Jr. of Novato, Ethel R. Cunningham of Hayward, Vivian N. Gray of Redding, and Claude M. and DeCoty T. Phillips, both of Marin City, grandmother of Kent B. Halman, Frank J. Phillips III, James Larry King, Tammie Kay Phillips, Carolyn Michelle Phillips, Everett Andre Phillips, Lavren Kerry Halman, Kristi Lynn Thomas, Ingrid Shunita Cunningham, Erica Dore Cunningham and Makayla Cunningham, Bari Aldine Gray and Amber Germaine Gray, great-grandmother of Jazzlynn Phillips, Michelle page, Mercedes King, Everett Andre Jr., Shanna Phillips, Alexis Nicole Malone, and Essence C. Hill, dear sister of Dovie Johnson Jr. of Richmond, Ralph Boonie Johnson of Oakland and Don Johnson of Oakland and Ruby Mae Howard of San Francisco. A native of Texas, aged 68 years.
Friends are invited to attend funeral services Friday, July 3, 1987, at 11 a.m. at the Village Baptist Church, 825 Drake Ave., Marin City. Friends may call for visitation Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at Russell & Gooch Funeral Chapel, 270 Miller Avenue, Mill Valley. A quiet hour will be held Thursday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Interment, Cypress Lawn Cemetery, Colma.
