Ruby Phillips

Ruby Phillips, 81, of San Rafael, died Wednesday, February 21, 1990.
A native of Wisconsin, she had lived in San Rafael for the past 45 years. She was a Leaderwoman at Marinship in Sausalito in 1944, and a chief cook for many years at San Rafael High School.
She was married to James W. Phillips, who died earlier. She had two sons who also died earlier, James D. Phillips and David E. Phillips. She is survived by a daughter, Audrey Jewett of San Rafael, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael. Burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
The family prefers memorial contributions to the American Heart Fund.
