CHRISTINE D’ALESSANDRO
The Mass of Christian burial for Christine D’Alessandro of Novato was to be held today in Novato.
Mrs. D’Alessandro, 97, died Tuesday at a local hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Italy, Mrs. D’Alessandro came to the United States as a young woman and lived most of her adult years in New York City. She moved to Novato about 12 years ago.
Her late husband, Daniel D’Alessandro, was a mining contractor.
Surviving are four daughters, Sylvia Gullotta of Novato, Irene Muscianisi of New Jersey, Adele Tomaselli of New York City, and Ann DeVirgilio of Italy; two sons, Roland Alexander of Long Island and Robert Alexander of Walnut Creek; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Bahia Valley Memorial Park.
