Eunice Hornsby Rusch
San Rafael homemaker
Eunice Hornsby Rusch of San Rafael died Friday, June 25, 1993, at home. She was 65.
Mrs. Rusch was born in San Francisco and raised in Mill Valley. She attended Tamalpais High School before graduating from San Rafael High School.
She attended the College of Marin and spent one year at the University of Mexico. She worked a secretary until retiring and becoming a homemaker.
In 1947 she was honored as Miss Marin. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Marin, the Native Daughters and Resurrection Lutheran Church in San Rafael.
A fan of hats, she owned about 300.
Mrs. Rusch is survived by her husband of 20 years, L. B. “Jim” Rusch of San Rafael, and her mother, Semiana Raymond of Sonoma.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. July 10 at The Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 1100 Las Gallinas Ave., San Rafael.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Marin, 150 Nellen Ave., Corte Madera 94925.
Arrangements were handled by Keaton’s Mortuary in San Rafael.
