EDITH GRECH
Avid gardener
Edith Grech of Novato, a longtime Marin resident and an avid gardener, died at home last Sunday, July 8, 1990, following a long illness. She was 79.
Mrs. Grech was born in San Francisco. She moved to Point Reyes in the early 1950s with her second husband, Salvador. She moved to Novato after his death in 1973.
Mrs. Grech was active in gardening and especially fond of cultivating roses.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest Burroughs Jr. of Clarksburg, Yolo County, and Lawrence Burroughs of Rancho Cordova; one granddaughter and two grandsons.
The funeral Mass was Thursday. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
