Beatrice Ruth Kolby
Passed away in Novato September 26, 2001 after a short illness. She was 90 years old. Born in Malta, and raised in San Francisco, she moved to Novato in the mid 1950's. She was a Pacific Telephone employee for 27 years and a long time member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church. Beatrice attended many delicious pasta dinners as a member of I.C.F.
She is survived by her loving daughter Arlene Skinner and her husband Tom, six granddaughters - Renee, Michelle, Kim, Kelly, Angela and Gina and eight grandchildren - Vanessa, Natalie, Elizabeth, Travis, Taylor, Miranda, Gunner and Gage. She was preceded in death by her husband Reinhard and her son Raymond. Friends are invited to visit on Monday, October 1st at Keaton's Redwood Chapel, 1801 Novato Blvd., Novato from 9am to 8pm with a Vigil Service being recited at 7pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 2nd at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, also in Novato. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in San Rafael.
