James B. James
James B. James, longtime Marin resident, died at his home in San Rafael Sunday after a lengthy illness. He was 72.
James was born in Oklahoma and lived in Madera County before moving to Marin in 1950.
He was a retired laborer who had worked for Edward Burger, a local contractor. James was a member of the Laborer's Union Local 1226 of San Rafael.
His wife...(illegible)...preceded him in death in 1977. One son, Larry James, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Barbara Grant of San Rafael; three sons, Robert James of Daly City, Charles James of San Rafael and Larry James of Fremont; two sisters and four brothers; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Monte's Mission Chapel in San Rafael. Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery.
The family prefers memorial contributions to a favorite charity.
