Richard Kui Fu Lee
Passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Rosa on August 8, 2002 at age 69. Born in Honolulu on June 4, 1933. He is the cherished husband of Daphne Medeiros Lee, beloved father of Terry, Malia, Kahala, and Richard, and grandfather of Michael. Also survived by his twin Lawrence, brothers Francis, Herbert, and Ernest, and sisters Violet Maunu, Ellen Ching, and Evelyn Char. He graduated from Kaimuki High ('51), University of Hawaii ('57), and San Francisco State ('61) and taught at George Washington High (SF) and San Jose Jr. High (Novato). He loved watching baseball, fishing, gardening with his friends and selling his melons, radishes, and Manoa lettuce at the Saturday Farmers Market. Services are Wednesday, August 14th at 11 a.m. at Resurrection Parish, Santa Rosa. Arrangements under the direction of Adobe Creek Funeral Home, 331 Lakeville Street, Petaluma, California.
