AMOS DENSMORE
Amos Densmore of Greenbrae, a Marin County resident since 1961, died today at a local hospital after an illness of several months. He was 75.
Densmore was a retired employee of PPG, Pittsburgh Plate Industries, having worked for the firm 40 years.
He was born in Meadville, Pa., and grew up there and in Marquette, Mich. He attended the University of Michigan for two years before beginning his working career with PPG in Detroit.
He later was transferred to Portland, Ore., Southern California and then to Berkeley in 1961.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret, of the family home; his daughter, Suzanne Strahan of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Catherine Prickett, also of Portland, and Priscilla Densmore of Marquette; and four grandchildren.
No funeral is planned.
