Former Marinite Dies In Georgia
Mrs. Anna Rollins Adams, 78, who came to San Rafael shortly after the great earthquake and fire in 1906, died yesterday in an Albany, Ga., hospital after long illness.
Mrs. Adams, widow of George D. Adams, who died in San Rafael in 1950, moved to Georgia to live with her daughter in 1953 after nearly 40 years’ residence here.
George D. Adams Jr., Mrs. Adams’ only son, died in World War II when his plane was shot down over France. He was a gunner on a B24.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Mrs. G. N. Dennis, Honolulu, and a brother-in-law, Joseph Bacigalupi, San Rafael.
Funeral services and burial will be in Albany.
