Sarah Ingermann, 78, Dies at Bolinas After Long Illness
A descendant of the founder of Bolinas, Mrs. Sarah Ingermann, 78, died Tuesday at the Bolinas home of her son, Homer Ingermann, after an illness of long duration.
Mrs. Ingermann was the granddaughter of Gregorio Briones, who held an original Spanish grant to the Bolinas property. She was born in Bolinas and married the late Samuel Ingermann, who was her classmate in the early Bolinas school.
Deceased leaves her son, Homer; another son, Charles; a daughter, Mrs. Cora M. Laughrey; a brother, Hiram J. Nott; a granddaughter, Marian Loughrey, and two grandsons, Homer and Donald Ingermann.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the mortuary of Keaton and Dusel. Interment, Bolinas cemetery.
