ROY JOHNSON
Funeral arrangements were pending today in Brookings, Ore. for Roy F. Johnson, 69, a former Petaluma resident.
Johnson died Monday at a Brookings Hospital after a long illness. A native of San Francisco, he had moved to Petaluma at the age of 14 and had operated a ranch on Spring Hill Road until a year ago when he retired to Oregon. He had also worked as a fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Brookings; two sons, Roy R. Johnson and William Johnson of Petaluma; a daughter, Margaret Johnson of Brookings; his mother, Christine Johnson of Petaluma; a sister, Lillian Bostrom of Petaluma, and three grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Heart Fund or Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children, San Francisco.
