Birtha G. Williams Dies In Hospital

Mrs. Birtha G. Williams , who had lived with her daughter in San Rafael since 1935, died yesterday in a local hospital after a long illness. A native of Missouri, she was 70 years old.

The widow of William Martin Williams, Mrs. Williams came to San Rafael after his death in 1934 to live with her daughter, Mrs. Ella Elizabeth Lloyd. She resided at her daughter’s home, 46 Marte Martens Boulevard, until she entered the hospital.

Surviving in addition to her daughter are three other daughters, Mrs. Blanche Steward of Atwater, Calif., Mrs. Lulu Mae Pittman of Merrim,* Kans., and Mrs. Mary E. Benson of Ontario, Calif. Also serviving are a brother and a sister, Newton Keller of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Anna Sizemore of Oklahoma City, Okla., and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo. Interment will be in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
