CLARA M. KURE

A memorial service for Clara M. Kure of San Rafael will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Aldersly Danish Retirement Home in San Rafael.

Mrs. Kure died on Monday, June 29, 1987, at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael after a long illness. She was 81.

She was born in Viborg, Denmark, and moved to Marin County in 1938. Mrs. Kure was a longtime employee of the old Albert’s Department Store in San Rafael. She also was on the board of directors for the Aldersly home and was active in PTA in Ross and San Anselmo.

Survivors include one son, Richard S. Kure of Larkspur, and two grandchildren. Her husband, Svend Kure, died three years earlier.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be made to the Aldersly Danish Retirement Home.
