Popular Marin Nurse Dies in San Francisco

Mrs. Anne E. Austin, well-known Marin County nurse, whose home was in Bayside Acres, died last week in a San Francisco hospital, after a brief illness.

Mrs. Austin had been a member of the Marin County Nurses’ Association for approximately 15 years, during which time she served as a member of the board of directors for a three-year period. She was a member of the American Red Cross.

Funeral services were held at the Jenness Funeral Parlors, Rev. Frederick H. Avery in charge, with the Nurses’ Association assisting. Following were services at Chapel of the Chimes in Berkeley.

Mrs. Austin has no living relatives here, all of her nearest of kin residing in the East.
