Judge A. H. Upton
Judge Archie H. Upton, 71-year-old native of Point Reyes, died last Thursday in Ross. Funeral services for the former Judge were held Saturday in San Francisco.
Deceased is survived by his two sons, Lucett and Robinson W. Upton, and a sister, mrs. Ida Skinner. He was the husband of the late Mary Annie Upton.
The Judge, who was one of the men who aided in the growth of Stinson Beach, was for many years Justice of the Peace of t he district. His name is well known throughout the State, as he was the owner of “Upon’s” on the Marin ocean beach.
