Estelle K. Haskell

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Christ Presbyterian Church in Terra Linda for Estelle K. Haskell, a 21-year resident of San Rafael.

Mrs. Haskell died Monday, June 29, 1987, at Marin General Hospital after a long illness. She was 61.

She was born in San Jose and raised in Stockton.

Mrs. Haskell was a homemaker and a painter who worked for many years with Elizabeth Boyd, who is well known in Marin County painting circles.

She met her husband, James T. Haskell, at the College of the Pacific in Stockton and they married in 1945.

She was a member of the Porsche Club of America and was a former member of the Marin Art and Garden Center guild.

In addition to her husband, other survivors are a son, David Michael Haskell of Studio City, Los Angeles County; a daughter, Carol Beth Bernard of Twain Harte, Tuloumne County; a brother, Louis R. Kenworthy of Stockton; and four grandchildren.

The family prefers memorial gifts to Marin County Unit of the American Cancer Society, 18 Mary St., San Rafael, Calif., 94901.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds that she was the grandmother of Daniel, Joshua, Jessica and Alexandria.
