He operated a chicken and sheep ranch for 40 years near Tomales, selling it three years ago and moving to Petaluma. He also was operator of a costal (sic) truck line from 1928 to 1948. He was born in Hamlet, in north Marin County.

Siemsen was a member of Vitruvius Lodge 145, Free and Accepted Masons, of Bloomfield, Sonoma County.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Steele Siemsen; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle E. McCulla of Tomales and Mrs. Evelyn J. Noftz of Vallejo; a son, William H. Siemsen of Santa Rosa; a brother, John Siemsen of Petaluma; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Burial was scheduled in Tomales Protestant Cemetery. The family asked that tributes be contributions to the Masonic Home at Decoto or to the memorial fund of Tomales Presbyterian Church.
