3-Month-Old Baby Dies In Larkspur

Lisa Le Gallais, three months old, was dead on arrival at Marin General Hospital at 6:43 a.m. today after artificial respiration was given her by Larkspur firemen at her home at 965 Magnolia Avenue.

Firemen and Larkspur policeman John Cottle responded when her father, L. D. Gallais, phoned at about 6:30 a.m. that the baby was not breathing.

The father was giving the baby mouth to mouth breathing when officers arrived. They then applied a respirator.

The baby was taken to the hospital after firemen were not sure whether she was responding to the resusucitation.
