Ferry Captain Dies At Mill Valley Home

Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday), for Capt. Goodman Hansen, veteran ferry captain, in the Robert F. Russell chapel, in Mill Valley. Mill Valley Lodge No. 356, F. and A.M., conducted the services. Captain Hansen passed away Tuesday following an illness of several weeks.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Carrie Hansen; his sons, Arthur G. and Roy Hansen and his brother, Lars Hansen. He was a native of Norway and a member of Oakland Lodge, No. 188, F. and A.M. and honorary member of the M. and P. Assn., No. 4. Interment was in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
