JOHN W. GINTER

Funeral for John W. Ginter, retired Army lieutenant colonel, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Holy Innocents’ Episcopal Church, Corte Madera. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.

Ginter, of 280 Adobestone Court, Marinwood, died Saturday in a San Francisco hospital after a long illness.

He retired from the Army in 1961 and had been chief of the training support branch in the office of the deputy chief of staff for operations at Sixth Army headquarters at the Presidio of San Francisco since 1964.

Survivors are his wife, Patricia, and four children, Margo, Jay, Kristin and Michael Ginter, all of the home.
