Arthur Anderson
A funeral for Arthur “Andy” J. Anderson of San Rafael, a former crew foreman for Pacific Gas and Electric, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Chapel of the Hills mortuary in San Anselmo.
Mr. Anderson, who was 87, died Monday at Kaiser Hospital in San Rafael.
He was born in Paradise, Butte County, and moved to Marin in 1927.
For 36 years he worked as a heavy line foreman for PG&E.
Mr. Anderson was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Larkspur.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie C. Anderson of San Rafael; three daughters (sic), Pauline Horst of Santa Rosa and Garland R. Anderson and Marita L. Jackson, both of Sebastopol; a brother (sic), Erma Campbell of Sonoma; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial will be Friday at the Chico Cemetery.
Memorial gifts are preferred to the Marin unit of the American Heart Association.

A Death Notice in the same paper mentions that he was also the father of the late Robert A. Anderson. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
