HELEN GROSS
Helen Gross, 74, of 200 Posada Del Sol, Novato, wife of William P. Gross, a retired engineer at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital, died yesterday at a local hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Gross was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Ward II, Novato, and the Woman's Relief Society.
She was a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, and had been a resident of Marin County for 28 years and of California 38 years.
Surviving, besides her husband, are three daughters, Marilyn Finn of San Rafael, Betty Woodward of Hawaii, and Sallie Gene Gross of Redwood City; three sisters, Elizabeth Parr and Esther Parr, both of Salt Lake City, and Alice Kirstine of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
