Mary LaVine
Mrs. Mary Emily LaVine, 73, of Sacramento, died unexpectedly at her summer home on Cypress Road in Dillon Beach early today.
The Marin County Coroner's Office said Mrs. LaVine complained of stomach pains to her husband, Charles LaVine, at 12:40 a.m., then collapsed on her bed. He called a nearby doctor, who pronounced her dead at 1 a.m.
An autopsy will be held at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.
The couple had been staying at their summer home for about four months. LaVine is a retired Sacramento fireman.
A native of Kansas, Mrs. LaVine had lived in California 50 years.
Surviving are her husband, a brother, Enos Wilson of Carmichael, Sacramento County; a daughter, Mrs. Donna Webster of Sacramento, and five sons, Charles LaVine of Occidental, Sonoma County; and Lawrence, Richard, Gene and Quentin LaVine of Sacramento.
Funeral arrangements are pending in Sacramento.
