Beatrice L. Groom
A funeral for Beatrice L. Groom of Mill Valley will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel in Mill Valley.
Mrs. Groom died Saturday at Marin General Hospital at the age of 84. Mrs. Groom, a native Californian, had lived in Mill Valley since 1948. She was a retired school teacher from Crescent City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester F. Groom. She is survived by her sister, Violet Flagler of Haywood and many nieces and nephews.
Private burial will be at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael.
