MORRIS – In Greenbrae, June 26, 1984, Richard Young Morris, survived by his wife, Winifred Biehl Morris, and his daughter, Mary Morris Willis; also leaves his sisters, Mary M. Cockayne, Barbara M. Siddoway and Harriet M. Westergard, all of Salt Lake City. A native of Salt Lake City, age 66. He was the great-grandson of Brigham Young. He graduated from the University of Utah and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He achieved the rank of Lt. Commander. For 28 years Mr. Morris worked for Industrial Indemnity and at his retirement in 1975, was vice-president and manager of the company’s San Francisco division. He was a member of the University Club and after his retirement was active in Big Brothers of Marin.

A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Ross, on Tuesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Brain Tumor Research Center in memory of Richard Y. Morris, U.C.S. F., San Francisco, 94143.
