MORRISON – Peter died at home in San Rafael on Dec. 12th, 1999. Peter was born on June 30, 1926 in San Francisco and raised in Palo Alto. He was the son of the late Stanley Morrison, Professor at Stanford Law School and Carroll Morrison of San Francisco and grandson of Carroll George and Maude Epler Cambron, long-time residents of San Francisco. Peter graduated from Thacher School in 1944, served in the Navy in W.W.II, received a B.A. from Yale University in 1950, and a LLB from Stanford University in 1953. He retired from Salomon Smith Barney. He was a stamp collector and an avid railroad enthusiast. He is survived by his wife, Susanne; his brother, Stephen; his children, Stanley, Elizabeth Wessel, Stephen and Madeleine Morrison-Young; and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the f;amily requests that donations be made to either the Stanley Morrison Memorial Scholarship Fund, Thacher School, 5025 Thacher Road, Ojai, CA 93023 or The California State Railroad Museum, ATT: Stephen Drew, 111 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. A memorial service will be held Friday.
