Joseph P. Barrow Dies At Hotel

Joseph P. Barrow, an old and well known resident of San Rafael, dropped dead Sunday afternoon while chatting with a friend in the parlor of the Carmel Hotel. According to Albert Newman, a resident of McNear’s Point, with whom Barrow was talking, the latter had made no complaint of illness, and was apparently in good health, when he suddenly collapsed and pitched from the chair to the floor.

Death was found to have been caused by heart disease. The deceased, who was 53 years of age, is survived by two brothers, Jerrold and Eugene Barrow, and two sisters, Mrs. Al Weber and Mrs. Francis Moran. He was a member of Mira Monte Camp, W.O.W.
