LOUIS RAGGIO
Louis A. Raggio, 42, of 1164 Midway Court, Novato, an operating engineer, was discovered dead at his home this morning, apparently of natural causes, according to the coroner’s office.
Novato police said Raggio was discovered at about 5:15 a.m. today by his brother, Victor L. Raggio of 1166 Midway Court who noticed mail accumulating in the mail box. Victor told police he had last seen his brother alive Sunday.
Raggio had a history of heart problems, police reported. He was employed by the Buzz Haskins Co. of South San Francisco.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union, Local 3, and the Italian Catholic Federation of Colma. He was a native of San Francisco, a longtime resident of Colma and a resident of Novato for the past nine years.
Surviving is his brother, Victor, of Novato.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Keaton’s Chapel of Marin.
