CRAIG MINTO

Funeral for Craig T. Minto, a lifelong resident of Fairfax, at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Chapel of the Hills, San Anselmo.

Minto, 20, died Saturday at Marin General Hospital after his car struck a tree at Samuel P. Taylor State Park.

He attended Deer Park Elementary School and Central School in Fairfax and graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School.

At the time of his death, he was employed at Minto and Sons Shell Service in Kentfield, owned by his father Donald Minto. His mother, Beverly Minto, operates a general store in Brownsville, Yuba County.

Minto, of 300 Olema Road, had been employed by McLaren Roofing Co. in Larkspur and HC Electronics in Tiburon. He had been bedridden for a year after a motorcycle accident in December, 1971.


In addition to his parents, Minto is survived by a sister, Deborah Minto of Brownsville, and a brother, Thomas A. Pena of San Anselmo.

Inurnment will be private.

A Death Notice in the same paper adds information: he was the grandson of Mrs. Carrie Minto of San Anselmo and the late Austin Minto and Mrs. Pearl Flores of Brownsville; nephew of Raymond and Mary Minto of Fairfax, Mrs. Janice Minto of Callahan, Siskiyou, and the late Robert Minto. Native of San Anselmo.
