Quentin Inmate Strangles Himself

Prison officials reported today that a San Quentin inmate, Tonji Taki, committed suicide by strangulation in the institution’s hospital last night.

Sentenced from Los Angeles in 1951 for murder, Taki used a towel attached to his bed in the psychopathic ward to kill himself.
